The Story
Shokomoka Adventure Hotel is a gem of a bush lodge located on the Gomoti River at the eastern end of the Okavango Delta, very close to Moremi Game Reserve.
The adventure lodge has a real bush feeling and low impact on nature and at the same time it is comfortable, tastefully decorated and has a high attention to detail.

Shokomoka uses solar power for electricity. Grey water is gathered, filtered and returned back to nature. Waste is recycled. The lodge only employs local Motswana people and provides proper training in the field of hospitality.
A small swimming pool, a short walk away, overlooks a woodland populated with leadwoods, knobthorns, rain trees and russet bushwillows. It is an excellent place to curl up with a book in the late afternoon, while keeping eyes open for elephants splashing merrily in the water as well as bushbuck, red lechwe, buffalo, impala, waterbuck, reedbuck, kudu and giraffe.

The lodge has its own game drive vehicles for game drives in the nearby area as well as full day game drives in Moremi Game Reserve.
