“It consists of camping and lodge rooms. We stayed in the lodge for one night from our small group tour. Reception: staff were helpful and courteous. Room: modern small clean room with air-conditioning. Comfortable bed and plenty of drinking water available. Restaurant: lovely views overlooking the pool area. We dined outside and only had breakfast there. One of the best breakfasts we had in Africa! Highly recommended.”

“I really enjoyed my stay at the Shearwater. It was not a conventional hotel, which is why I loved it so much. As a hotel inspector, I live in hotels every day and my expectations are high. The staff were great, the place was clean and that is very important to me. The two suggestions I have is to have umbrellas in the rooms and also put depth markers on the pool so guests can know how deep it is. Other than that, I will definitely stay here again!”
